ONE-TO-ONE lessons, familiar and individual

The Institute Atahualpa is located in the heart of modern Quito, close to the main shopping area Amazonas. Quito's most important shops, travel agencies and restaurants can be found there. Because of its central location, the school can easily be reached by bus.

 

The school itself offers a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. It is a small school where the student is at the centre of attention. Therefore, the individual expectations of each student can be met. We work exclusively together with teachers having a minimum experience of five years in teaching Spanish and an university degree.



The lessons are specifically designed for you

• One on one lessons (one student with one teacher)In our experience the best way to learn a foreign language
• It is therefore possible to design our lessons, speed and daily amount individually for you
• Normally we offer 20 hours a week, with 4 hours daily Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 13:00 with half an hour break. However, it is possible to agree on any other amount or time, and even lessons on Saturdays and Sundays are possible without any additional costs
• Teachers change every week
• You will be studying a variety of things such as Grammar, Literature, Pronunciation, Conversation skills, improvement of your vocabulary as well as Ecuadorian culture
• What you study can immediately be applied in a conversation with your teacher. This approach makes it possible for the student to acquire a colloquial, everyday vocabulary at the same time as a more economical, political or medical vocabulary

Diplomas and certificates

D.E.L.E.
Naturally we offer you the possibility to achieve the well know ‘Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera’ (D.E.L.E) introduced by the University Cervantes. Our school offers A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 completion

Official certificate by the Ministry for Education and Culture
Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate from our school, indicating the areas studied. If you study for more than 120 hours you will additionally get a Diploma from the Ecuadorian Ministry for Education and Culture.
