Quito Cultural - afternoon activities

Apart of the private Spanish lessons, in the afternoons (Monday to Friday) from 14.00 to 16.00 the cultural program called Quito Cultural is offered to show you the the interesting and exciting parts of Quito and its surroundings.

Quito has a lot of things to offer. The town appears on the world's heritage list of UNESCO.

Here a choice of our afternoon activities:

• the first afternoon walk through modern Quito to help you finding the orientation which is not that easy the first days

• different sightseeing walks through old Quito with lots of explanations of the monuments, visits of old districts, of markets and different museeums

• Excursion to Mitad del Mundo, the Equator-line, no far north of Quito

• Hike to the Pichincha from where you will have a great view over Quito

• Visit of a traditional market south of Quito far away from tourism

• course in latin-american dancing

• course in how to play a typical native instrument
