Atacames is located
west of Esmeraldas at the
Pacific. Here you will spend a nice week directly at the long sandy beach
in a tropical surrounding.
Day 1,
Sunday: In the late evening your coach leaves from Quito.
Day 2,
Monday: Arrival in Atacames in the morning. Move into the
accommodation in the hostel. Spanish classes. Walk along the
beach in direction Tonsupa.
Day 3, Tuesday: Spanish classes. Excursion to the Playa de Sua, to take part at the arrival of the fishing boats. At low tide it is possible to walk back on the beach.
Day 4,
Wednesday: Spanish classes. Visit of the museum in Atacames
followed by an excursion to the Malecón de Atacamez.
Day 5, Thursday: Spanish classes. Enjoy the sea and the
beach. In the evening once more enjoy the bars and discos.
Day 6, Friday: Spanish classes. In the early afternoon travel back to Quito. You pass the fruitful plantations of the Costa.
Spanish
classes take place in the hostel or at the beach, of course. In the
evenings there are several possibilities to go out, e.g. restaurants at
the beachside or several discos.
